Haircuts that will make my natural hair look good?

Hello! So I have dark brown wavy ish hair that goes down a lol past my boobs(sorry didn't know how else to identify it xD) it's a lol poofy and frizzy natural because I styled it alot but it's getting better since the begining of this school yer I barely straightened it! My hair right now is straight ends and I have old layers I'm trying to grow out and a side swept bang, I was thinking of once I grow out my layers I could get pointed ends (if you know what I mean they look like a v ?) and maybe my hair would look better natural without the frizz ? That was Just an idea..Any suggestions? Thanks!(:
