How to convince parents a Ford IS RELIABLE!?

if they wont let you have a ford escape? buy a mazda tribute. same vehicle different badge. or mazda miata 1800cc a lot faster and cheaper than the escape. i agree with tyresmoker the only reason fords break down is through careless ownership.
