MPG tips for a 1996 Monte Carlo?

Is their any thing I can do to up my MPG. I just traded my 98 VW New Beetle for it (**Disclaimer** VW New Beetles only get around 20MPG if they are automatic. Mine was getting alot less because it had problems) My New 96 Monte Carlo only gets around 14-16 city and 24-28 HWY. Is their anything I can do to get more. Such as any additives, replacement parts, etc?
