I put my Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 in gear and it will not move?

While riding on the HWY my Vulcan was in gear and it lost power..I can put it in gear and release the clutch it will not move..It doesn't even sound like its any any gear. The clutch is tight and still in place. Any help I got the repair manual but it don't help me...PLEASE HELP ME
