Why are most Canadians so un-enthusiastic about moving to Winnipeg?

it is not the geographical centre of north america, rugby, north dakota is ... and what about the weather ??? summers with temperatures over 40 degrees celcius with the humidix and in the winter -50 degrees celcius ... nothing you listed would make me want to live in winnipeg ...
