Why can't the NFL de-certify to force the players into a strike?

Similiar to what microsoft was forced to due split into a few smaller companies. The NFL as you stated would then look just like the NFL of old prior to the AFL and NFL merger. NO more Super bowl? NO more any6 team being able to play any team. It would fail horribly
